PROBLEM
Within the rough, accident-prone nature of skateboarding, phones can break causing loss of communications within the community that thrives off identity and visual aesthetics.

INSIGHT
We can recycle phone parts like the mobile phones’ camera to create a new product that refuels skateboarder’s passions and brings the community closer together.

SOLUTION
A small camera device that is portable and agile. It can be used to record and livestream from many different angles.
On this industry collaboration project, we worked on a live brief directed by @stormbrands.co, with the intention to ‘brand the unbrandable’. We were set a useless product (a phone that won’t charge) along with a target audience (skateboarders) to target and appeal for with a product/service.
Therefore we decided to create 'JIB.LENS', a portable camera device made out of recyclable phone parts that’s role is to capture, stream and share all the tricks, fails and nearly’s involved in the skateboarding community. This was a team project and I was delighted to work with Viktorija to create the deliverables and social media campaign.
